Betsy E. Worthley, PA-C
Betsy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in 2006 and went on to earn a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
From 2011 to 2014, Betsy was active duty in the United States Navy as a physician assistant where she worked in family practice at Naval Health Clinic Hawaii and also deployed to Afghanistan as a Senior Medical Officer. In 2014, she worked at an orthopedic group in Reston, Virginia focusing on upper extremity and, most recently, an orthopedic urgent care in Honolulu before relocating to California and joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2018.
During her military service, Betsy taught over 100 US Navy Seals pre-hospital, basic medical skills for tactical combat environments to increase casualty survival rate on the battlefield. She believes in treating each patient as their own individual and focuses on restoring physical function to baseline to improve their quality of life.
Betsy lives in Moorpark with her husband and three of four sons, as one is attending college at MIT. She enjoys traveling, cooking and exploring the California wine country.
