Jeanine McDonell, PT, DPT
Jeanine received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara and went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. Before joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2020, she worked for two years in outpatient orthopedic clinics as well as an aide for VO before going to PT school.
Jeanine believes her job is to facilitate the healing and rehabilitation process by empowering her patients with education and training to get them back to doing the things they love. She uses functional movement analysis to help correct muscle movement impairments through a combination of hands-on exercise and neuromuscular reeducation therapy. Jeanine sprinkles her Pilates knowledge into the treatments by focusing on breathing, coordination, precision of movement and whole body and mind engagement.
In her free time, Jeanine loves to bake and see live music along with going to garage sales and thrift stores. For exercise, she enjoys distance running, playing soccer and doing yoga and Pilates. Jeanine also has a passion for traveling and learning new cultures.
