Jeff attended UCLA and California State University, Northridge, where, in 1980, he earned his degree in physical therapy. He went back to school in 1991 to complete a two-year residency in Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

Jeff got his professional start at an outpatient physician/therapy office that specialized in arthritis along with back and neck pain. In 1987, Jeff started his own private practice and, in 1998, he opened up Ortho Pro in Oak Park which specialized in orthopedics and sports injuries. Jeff and his team at Ortho Pro joined the Ventura Orthopedics family in 2020.

Striving to make each visit effective by being professional but still having fun, Jeff treats his patients like friends and family. Additionally, he has been working with runners for over 35 years by doing numerous lectures and clinics on running injuries and optimizing running form.

In his free time, Jeff loves spending time with his family, kite surfing, mountain biking, running, traveling, gardening and painting. Born in Israel, Jeff moved to Los Angeles when he was six years old and has lived in Oak Park since 1994. Even though they went to the same high school, Jeff did not start dating his wife until five years later and they now have three grown children and one grandchild.
