Biography

Lee Ann received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and went on to earn a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. Her master’s thesis project was on The Use of Purposeful Activity in Hand Therapy which she presented at the AOTA Annual Conference and Exposition in 2000.

When she joined Ventura Orthopedics in 2017, Lee Ann brought with her over 17 years of experience as an occupational therapist, working in a variety of settings which include brain injury and general rehabilitation along with clinic-based and home-based pediatrics. Lee Ann believes every patient comes to therapy as an individual with unique needs and goals and understanding them is necessary to restore and improve their functional abilities and, ultimately, quality of life.

In her free time, Lee Ann enjoys exercising, exploring the great outdoors, music (singing, playing guitar and piano) and spending time with her active family. She has been married to her husband, Aaron, for over 20 years and they have four children. Originally from Hawaii, Lee Ann has lived in Ventura most of her life.
