Mary “Nelly” Geronimo, PT, DPT

Mary “Nelly” Geronimo received both a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Fitness, Nutrition, and Health and a Master of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science from San Diego State University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. Prior to joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2020, Nelly completed an orthopedic physical therapy residency through Kaiser Permanente.

To provide efficient care to her patients, Nelly believes in treating them with compassion in an effort to guide them in achieving their personal health goals. She also strives to ensure her patients are educated about their condition so they can collaborate together on a realistic care plan with attainable goals.

Born and raised in Guam and a resident of San Diego for 13 years, Nelly currently lives in Simi Valley. In her free time, she enjoys physical activities like rock climbing, snowboarding, frisbee golf, yoga, Pilates and running. She also loves spending time with her friends and family along with trying new restaurants, wineries and breweries.
