Biography

Miles received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California and went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University. Prior to joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2023, he has worked for a year as a traveling physical therapist and two and a half years at Advantage Physical Therapy. Before earning his doctorate degree, Miles was a physical therapy aide for three years at three different clinics, including Ventura Orthopedics.

Since no two patients are the same, Miles believes in quality manual therapy coupled with individualized exercise prescription/progression and supplemental home exercise program to help produce the best patient outcomes. Along with outpatient orthopedics physical therapy, he is also highly knowledgeable in evaluation and treatment of vestibular/balance disorders, such as BPPV, neuritis, labyrinithis, Meneire’s disease, vestibular migraines, vestibular hypofunction and other types of vertigo/dizziness/imbalance.

Born and raised in the Ojai area, Miles graduated from Ventura High School. In high school, he suffered an injury during a wrestling match which led him to become a patient at Ventura Orthopedics. Because of his great experience with the physical therapy team, it motivated him to become a physical therapist. After living in many place around the East Coast, Miles now lives in Ventura with his wife and their young daughter,
