We have been without access to our electronic medical record system since Sunday, September 4th.

Ventura Orthopedics is in the process of changing the vendor that provides us with Information Technology services. During this process, the vendor was transferring our data and experienced a server failure. When the vendor went to the backup server, they experienced a different issue with that server. It is rare to have two servers fail at the same time. This has resulted in us not being able to access our electronic medical record.

The vendor has been rebuilding the necessary servers and restoring the data and we expect to have access to the system again in the next week.

While waiting for our original system to be restored we implemented a temporary system to continue to serve our patients. Due to this, patients have been experiencing longer than usual wait times in our clinic.

We assure you that no data has been compromised, we have not been hacked or held to ransom and we have not lost our data. Requests for copies of medical records will be filled as soon as the system is back up.
