Steve Edwards (Manager) PT, DPT, OCS
Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from University of California, Davis, a master’s degree in physical therapy from College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital IHP. He is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), both their national and California chapter, as well as the Orthopedic and Sport Specialty sections of the APTA.
At the start of his career, Steve worked in acute rehabilitation pediatrics as well as outpatient orthopedics. In 2001, he concentrated solely on orthopedic patient care. Steve has been with Ventura Orthopedics Therapy Service since its inception in 2002 and is currently the Therapy Services Manager in Ventura.
Steve lives in Ventura with his wife and three children. His appreciation for physical therapy is enhanced by his own participation in a number of activities — surfing, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding — and his desire to keep up with his children.
