Biography

Dr. Hossein Aziz is a board-certified spine surgeon with specialized training in spinal endoscopy, minimally invasive techniques, and complex reconstructive spine surgery. He treats the full spectrum of spinal conditions—from the base of the skull to the pelvis—including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, degenerative disc disease, and spinal trauma.

Dr. Aziz completed his spine surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham through the prestigious AO Spine program, following his orthopedic surgery residency in Southern California. He is known for combining advanced surgical techniques with a patient-centered minimally invasive approach, and always prioritizing safety, precision, and quicker recovery.

Believing strongly in a collaborative approach to care, Dr. Aziz takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and concerns. He works closely with patients to design personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring function and improving quality of life. His practice offers state-of-the-art options including spinal endoscopy, motion-preserving procedures, and minimally invasive fusion techniques.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Aziz enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young sons, who keep him busy with adventures, sports, and weekend getaways. Dr. Aziz is now proud to serve patients throughout Ventura County and beyond, offering compassionate, expert care close to home.
