Michael J. Fealy, MD, is a board-certified hand surgeon specializing in complex hand and wrist conditions, proudly serving patients in Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks. He provides expert care for injuries, nerve conditions, arthritis, fractures, and other hand and wrist issues.
Dr. Fealy earned his medical degree from George Washington University and completed both general and plastic surgery residencies at Stanford University, where he also completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery.
He is affiliated with multiple local hospitals and is a member of several leading surgical societies. Dr. Fealy has also volunteered his surgical expertise on international medical missions in Nepal and Peru.
Known for his patient-focused approach, Dr. Fealy is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care. Outside the clinic, he enjoys coaching youth sports and cycling for charity.
Dr. Fealy always takes time with me and never feels rushed so he can explain and show in ways that I can understand what’s going on with my issues and presents options to choose from about next steps to hopefully resolve the issues. Supporting staff is also top grade.
Dr. Fealy was attentive and asked questions that quickly pinpointed what was going on with my hand, wrist and forearm. He prescribed medication and showed me how to wrap the arm with a bandage that would relieve the pains. You could tell Dr. Fealy knows his specialty, yet he examines you without ego, and is genuinely kind in his approach.
Dr. Fealy performed surgery on both wrists and my left hand. My pain is gone, my surgical scars are incredibly hard to see and my quality of life is much better after his quality care.
I am an 86 year old patient of Dr. Fealy, and over the years of his care for me he has now attended to nearly every finger of mine on a one-at-a-time basis. One more finger and I think he will have attended to every one. Add a thumb joint rebuild, a tennis elbow issue and carpal tunnel care into his attention to my needs and you will get a picture of how indebted I am to Dr. Fealy. The Simi – Thousands Oaks communities are fortunate to have our hands in his.
Dr. Fealy is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He’s thorough and kind. I would never want to have anyone else care for a hand injury for my son. He’s done 3 operations on me and I wouldn’t change a thing. I truly love everything about him.
Dr. Fealy was completely aware of my injury and previous failed surgery by another hand specialist. He knew exactly what revision procedure was required and was prepared to process my case toward surgery…. I am so happy to have such competent treatment to allow for full function of my hands.
Dr. Fealy takes a substantial amount of time explaining your injury, and or other issues to the fullest extent. He is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, and most professional when it comes to making suggestions as to what plan is best for you whether it be an office procedure or surgical and everything in between. I’ve been seeing Dr. Fealy for the last 20 years and he has never been wrong for myself or my family when it comes to diagnosis and a treatment plan.
I saw Dr Fealy, Hand Surgeon. He is a kind, patient, competent doctor. I had excellent results, he takes the time to answer your questions. The office staff is very efficient and I like I never have to wait a long time to see the doctor.
