Timothy Rearick, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon serving patients in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley, specializing in foot and ankle disorders, including sports injuries. Raised in Ventura County, he graduated magna cum laude from UCLA and earned his medical degree from the University of Miami, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
After completing his orthopedic residency at USC and LAC Medical Center, Dr. Rearick trained in foot and ankle surgery at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. Since joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2016, he has focused on treating trauma, arthritis, tendon disorders, and performing minimally invasive surgeries.
Outside of work, Dr. Rearick enjoys sports, travel, and spending time with his wife and three children.

I am beyond grateful for Dr. Rearick and his exceptional team at Ventura Orthopedics. This was my first visit and Dr. Rearick’s caring attitude made me feel comfortable and understood. He took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly assessed my situation, quickly identifying the issue. His expertise led to effective treatment options that have made a significant difference in a short amount of time. The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming environment. I highly recommend Dr. Rearick for anyone seeking compassionate and professional orthopedic care.

I highly recommend Dr. Timothy Rearick. I went to 3 other orthopedic surgeons and he is the only one that seemed to know what needed to be done. My surgery was a success and I am on my way to healing and improving my lifestyle.

Dr. Rearick is the kind of orthopedic surgeon every patient hopes to find. After months of slow healing and frustration with a non-union fibula fracture, he not only provided clear guidance and thoughtful care, but also supported my use of the EXOGEN bone stimulator — which led to a full recovery far ahead of schedule. Thanks to his expertise and support, I’m now back to doing what I love: riding and jumping horses competitively. I truly felt listened to, supported, and treated like a partner in my own recovery. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Dr Rearick took the time to explain my ankle injury to me. His in-depth knowledge and experience showed me what was wrong with my foot and what I needed to do to get through the pain and what to expect to get back on my feet.

I saw Dr. Rearick for two toe fusion issues. He performed both surgeries and the outcome has been excellent. He’s well spoken, thorough and always took the time to answer my questions, review x-rays, professional and has a pleasant personality. I never felt rushed during an appointment. He truly cares for the patients he’s treating and it shows in his attitude in wanting to treat you with the best options. I would highly recommend Dr. Rearick! I would definitely go to Ventura Orthopedics again if I had the need.

Dr Rearick is very knowledgeable and thorough. He is also very nice, and easy to communicate with. He previously did successful foot surgery on me, so I will continue to see him whenever any foot issue arises. I have complete trust in him. I also love that he doesn’t rush you through your appointment!

I saw Dr. Rearick for a consult on a procedure I’d already had done to my left foot years ago, that needed to be done on my right. He was kind, thorough, maintained eye contact and made sure I felt secure and knowledgeable about my decisions around surgery. I didn’t feel like just another number coming through the door. His assistants were communicative and informative. Overall a wonderful experience.

I can’t thank Dr. Rearick enough for his outstanding work and care. I was initially nervous about the surgery, especially after hearing some horror stories about scarring and recovery. But Dr. Rearick has truly exceeded all my expectations. The scar looks incredible—truly the best it could possibly look—and that alone speaks volumes about his skill.

Even more impressive is my recovery progress. Just 3.5 months after my injury, I’m already walking with full weight bearing and unassisted. It’s been nothing short of miraculous, and I owe it all to Dr. Rearick’s expertise.

What really surprised me, though, was the pain. Going into this, I was terrified of the pain I’d have to deal with. But to my shock, I felt minimal pain throughout the entire process, and most of the time, I had no pain at all. I know it sounds crazy, but I was genuinely amazed at how well everything went on that front!

He’s not just a surgeon; he’s a rockstar in the orthopedic world. The level of care, attention to detail, and results I’ve received from him have been exceptional. Thank you so much, Dr. Rearick. Much love and respect for the work you do!
