Biography

Rick received a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles and went on to complete the MEDEX physician assistant program at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Formerly a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy, Rick was a member of the first MEDEX physician assistant program which trained combat medics as physician assistants. He also passed the first ever Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam.

With a belief in treating each patient as an individual, Rick strives to understand their personal goals and then taking action to best achieve those goals. Rick joined Ventura Orthopedics in 2016 and specializes in orthopedic pain management. A native of Los Angeles, he currently lives in Encino, Calif.
