With the extreme pressure doctors are under to see, diagnose, treat, and move on in 20 minutes or so to keep up with insurance company demands, it is a rare Doctor that has the skills to not only be a great surgeon, but also hear what the patient is saying and relate while doing so. Dr. Hofer is an 11 out of 10… that is because 10 is just not enough!

I have had two knee replacements done by Dr. Hofer. He and his PA, Sean, offer care on a higher level. I came in recently to have a diagnostic on my hip and spine. I had X-rays of both and a diagnosis that was complete and Dr. Hofer took time to address all of my questions and concerns. I feel very at home at Ventura Orthopedics and recommend them to anyone needing orthopedic care.

I couldn’t have had better or more personal care! As with most highly skilled and recommended doctors, they have a large patient population. However, they not only give their full attention and time to each patient, but the appointments stay reasonably on time. I am very happy with my new knees, and the freedom my new mobility provides. I am grateful that I have had such a positive experience!

Dr. Hofer‘s entire team were spectacular. So professional, they carried out their duties to my comfort, safety, and precision. Dr. Hofer, is a master and installing knee replacements. Dr. Hofer is an amazing doctor both in and out of the operating room. His skill and knowledge provide his patients with the best option forward for their injuries and/or improved mobility. I highly recommend him.
