Ali R. Motamedi, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon serving patients in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks, specializing in sports medicine with a focus on knee and shoulder arthroscopy. He holds dual board certifications in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. After earning his medical degree from Tulane University, Dr. Motamedi completed his orthopedic residency at the University of New Mexico and fellowships at UCLA and the University of Vienna. He has also taught at UCLA and the University of Texas Medical School. Dr. Motamedi is a fellow of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, a former president of the Western Orthopedic Association, and currently serves as the team doctor for Adolfo Camarillo High School.

Andre M. Ishak, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist conditions, serving patients in Oxnard and Camarillo. Raised in Palos Verdes, CA, he earned his MD from Tufts University in 1993. After completing his orthopedic residency at LAC/USC Medical Center, he furthered his training in hand surgery at UCSF. In 1999, Dr. Ishak joined Ventura Orthopedics and holds a clinical instructor position at UCLA School of Medicine. He has published scientific articles and presented at national meetings. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, backpacking, diving, and playing the saxophone. He lives in Camarillo with his family and pets.

Hossein Aziz, DO, is a board-certified spine surgeon serving Ventura and Camarillo. Specializing in spinal endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, he treats a range of conditions, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, and spinal trauma. Dr. Aziz takes a patient-centered approach, creating personalized treatment plans with advanced, motion-preserving techniques to ensure safety, precision, and faster recovery. After completing his orthopedic surgery residency in Southern California, he further trained at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Aziz is committed to providing expert, compassionate spine care to the Ventura County community.

J. Ryan Quinn, MD, serves patients in Oxnard, Camarillo, and Simi Valley, specializing in knee and hip replacements, including complex, robotic, and revision surgeries. A native of Salt Lake City, he earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his orthopedic residency at UC Irvine. Before joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2020, Dr. Quinn completed a fellowship in lower extremity reconstruction at the Scripps Clinic. A fourth-generation physician, he is fluent in Spanish and Q’eqchi’ and has participated in medical missions to Guatemala. In his free time, Dr. Quinn enjoys golf, skiing, and spending time with his family. He lives in Camarillo with his wife and two children.

Behnam (Ben) Sharareh, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow conditions serving patients in Oxnard, Ventura and Camarillo. Raised in Laguna Niguel, CA, he earned a degree in Bioengineering from UCLA and his medical degree from UC Irvine, where he joined the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. Dr. Sharareh completed his orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington. He performs various procedures, including shoulder and elbow arthroplasties and reconstructions. Dr. Sharareh is the editor-in-chief of Orthobullets and enjoys basketball, golf, tennis, skiing, and family time.
