Biography

Emily attended California Lutheran University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to receive a Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the University of Southern California. She is certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Prior to joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2022, Emily was a study coordinator and phlebotomist at a diabetes pharmaceutical research center while completing her undergraduate degree and for a year afterwards before starting PA school.

Emily is passionate about providing quality care to all patients through patient education and a team‐based approach to treatment. She believes that the patient should be at the center of each treatment plan with a strong network of providers and specialists to support them and help them achieve their goals. Emily also believes that it is important to take the time to educate patients about all their options so that they can decide which is best for them.

A native of Ventura, Emily is excited to be back in town with her two Dobermans. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. When she was younger, Emily participated in taekwondo, tennis, golf and swimming. She has been trying to get back into those sports as well as attempting new ones such as skiing, rock climbing and stand-up paddleboarding.
