Esmeralda Huambachano, PT, DPT

Esmeralda is a dedicated physical therapist with a strong background in kinesiology and exercise science. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Cal State Long Beach, focusing on Exercise Science, and went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Cal State Northridge. While at Northridge, she served as Class President and was honored with the prestigious Campanella-LA Dodgers Foundation Scholarship at Dodger Stadium.

Before joining Ventura Orthopedics, Esmeralda gained valuable experience in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. She interned with Moorpark High School Football and CSUN Club Sports, providing crucial sideline coverage. With a passion for enhancing patients’ functionality, she focuses on helping them return to their prior activities through a strong foundation in biomechanics.

Born and raised in Ventura County, Esmeralda is excited to give back to the community that shaped her. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her fiancé, relaxing at the beach, and exploring new adventures with her dog, Mocha.
