Susie Yovanno, PT, DPT, OCS

Biography

Susie earned bachelor degrees in sports medicine/exercise science from Old Dominion University and physical therapy from Howard University. She went on to receive a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. Susie is board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Services as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

Susie has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics treating post-surgical and non-surgical conditions. She also has experience with acute rehabilitation, medical/surgical inpatient care and aquatic physical therapy. Susie joined Ventura Orthopedics in 2008 and specializes in manual therapy of muscle energy, strain and counterstrain, myofascial release, therapeutic exercise prescription, kinesio taping, posture and body mechanics instruction.

Suzie lives in Ventura with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking, ocean sports and philanthropic activities.
