Tessa Bingham, PA-C, MPAP

Biography

Tessa earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco in 2018. She went on to receive a Master of Physician Assistant Practice in May 2023 from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. She is certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Tessa worked as a medical assistant and phlebotomist in various urgent care centers around the area, becoming very familiar with orthopedic complaints. During her time as a student at USC, Tessa got to complete a rotation in trauma surgery with LAC+USC county hospital gaining knowledge of intense and complex orthopedic traumas, and she completed an orthopedic rotation with Ventura Orthopedics where she learned firsthand from the group’s experts.

Tessa is very passionate about orthopedics and believes in whole body and mind health. As an athlete who played sports from childhood through college and has undergone various surgeries, she is no stranger to the injury process and the toll it takes on one’s mental health, so she is able to connect with patients on a personal level. From the time of injury through the diagnostic work up, treatment plan, and rehabilitation, she partners with patients to provide optimal individualized care. She believes in educating patients so they can make informed decisions and be advocates of their own health. Tessa currently works as part of the Urgent Ortho team to care for after-hours patients, and she works as a pediatric physician assistant in the West Hills area. She loves working with children and has tremendous respect for their resilience through adversity.

As a native of the area, Tessa is happy to be back serving her home community and work in specialties she loves. In her free time, she enjoys taking her son and dog to the beach, playing tennis, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling whenever possible. Tessa is also half Spanish, so she travels to see her family in Madrid often and speaks fluent Castilian.
