Rachel Nygren, PT, DPT, OCS

Biography

Rachel earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Indiana University and a doctorate degree in physical therapy from University of Southern California. She is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and Mat Pilates Instructor.

Before joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2015, Rachel worked in a variety of settings including small private practice, home health and pediatrics. She has been able to use the skills learned in each of these settings to better treat her patients. In 2016, Rachel completed a year-long course in manual therapy and she enjoys taking continuing education courses to stay up to date on the best treatment techniques.

Rachel lives in Thousand Oaks with her husband and two children — daughter and son. Her interests include swimming, hiking, baking and playing with her children. While in college, Rachel spent a semester abroad in Spain.
