Biography

Rebecca graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, specializing in exercise science, and a master’s degree in physical therapy. After completing an orthopedic clinical residency in 2012, she became board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Rebecca has special training in orthopedics, ACL rehabilitation, sports specific rehabilitation, movement science, yoga, Pilates and biomechanics of the lower extremity and shoulder.

Currently the Therapy Services Manager in Thousand Oaks, Rebecca worked for four years in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy before joining Ventura Orthopedics in 2014. She has also been a part-time anatomy professor at CSUN, yoga teacher trainer and massage therapist. Helping others achieve pain-free movement through physical therapy is important to Rebecca because, “It is not how long we live but the quality of each day of our life that matters.” If you want to know more about Rebecca, feel free to stop by her office and ask her in person.
