Shelby Doud, PT, MPT, OCS

Biography

Shelby received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, specializing in therapeutic exercise & rehabilitation, and a master’s degree in physical therapy from California State University, Sacramento. She is board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist along with Graston Technique® certified.

Shelby joined Ventura Orthopedics in 2012 after moving to Oxnard. Before that, she started her career at San Luis Sports Therapy in Morro Bay. Shelby has completed the Michael Miller course for evidence based evaluation and interventions for orthopedic patients.

A former US Pro Wakeboard Tour champion, Shelby enjoys snowboarding, kiteboarding, surfing, and mountain biking. However, she cannot throw or catch anything (feel free to test her). Shelby lives in Ventura with her husband, Daniel, daughter Avery and golden retriever, Bailey.
